“Telouet Tree Stand, Morocco” was selected as part of the FAV15% (jury’s favorite 15% of the entries) in the June 2020 BoldBrush Painting competition. I did this in Morocco in a painting expedition up in the Atlas mountains. Here is my a picture of my palette for the painting – I went a bit wild with the color on this one! But I find the amount of paint I put out on the palette helps me find the color harmony better, and also helps me create the different variations in the brushwork (see detail).
