“Way back in February, when nobody thought twice about crowded places, I entered the one-day Florida State Fair plein air painting competition. I was thrilled to learn I won First Place! Barry’s painting videos from Marrakesh inspired me to tackle this busy midway scene.”
“A couple of weeks after the fair, I participated in a three-day plein air event not far from where I live. And in that one, I received an Honorable Mention for this beach scene. These successes have been very motivating for me. I’m looking forward to spending the next month working my way through the rest of my VAA lessons :)”
