Strada mid pochade

I use a Strada mid with the Strada C405 (their heaviest tripod for maximum stability). You get great palette space and I love the side trays. It’s an excellent set up if you want to paint outdoors and you don’t plan to walk extensively or you don’t mind a slightly bigger weight for your plein air trip.

Overall it’s a stunning plein air set up and I love it – am a huge fan of Strada easels.

If you do plan on painting plein air with longer walks involved or weight /size of equipment is a bigger concern – consider the Strada mini or Strada micro.
